IDEAS is the largest bibliographic database dedicated to Economics and available freely on the Internet. ##RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) is a collaborative effort of hundreds of volunteers in 87 countries to enhance the dissemination of research in Economics and related sciences. The bibliographic database contains working papers, journal articles, books, books chapters and software components, all maintained by volunteers. The collected data are then used in various services that serve the collected metadata to users or enhance it. IDEAS is just one of several services that use RePEc data.

EconStor provides a basis for the free publication of academic literature in economics. Any research facility and any scholar may publish and permanently preserve relevant publications in economics on EconStor under the terms of Open Access. The self-uploading process on EconStor is intended mainly for entering texts already published and/or reviewed as postprints (author’s versions, final drafts) or original documents (publishers’ versions). You can also publish other types of documents (working or discussion papers and other preprints, theses, conference proceedings, research reports, expert opinions, reviews etc.) as long as they are not contained within series fully provided and maintained by EconStor. Scopus is a large abstract and citation database covering more than 15.000 peer-reviewed titles from over 4.000 international publishers, including coverage of 500 Open Access (OA) journals, 700 conference proceedings, 600 trade publications and 125 book series. The World Bank's Open Data initiative is intended to provide all users with access to World Bank data. The data catalog is a listing of available World Bank data sources. This listing will continue to be updated as additional data resources are added. These resources include databases, pre-formatted tables and reports. Each of the listings includes a description of the data source and a direct link to that source. Where possible, the databases are linked directly to a selection screen to allow users to select the countries, indicators, and years they would like to search. Those search results can be exported in different formats. Users can also choose to download the entire database directly from the catalog. World Development Indicators (WDI) is the primary World Bank database for development data from officially-recognized international sources. Global Development Finance (GDF) provides external debt and financial flows statistics for countries that report public and publicly-guaranteed debt under the World Bank's Debtor Reporting System (DRS). The World Bank's Global Economic Monitor (GEM) data set provides real- and financial sector indicators in daily, monthly, quarterly and annual frequencies for developing and high-income countries, and regional and global aggregates.
