The IEEE Xplore digital library is a resource for discovery of scientific and technical content published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its publishing partners. IEEE Xplore provides references to more than 3-million documents from some of the world's most highly cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics. Hanken does not have a licence to full texts in IEEE Xplore, but the references as well as abstracts can be accessed. Contact the library to get help in accessing full texts.

Scopus also offers full integration of the scientific web in its search results, searching 386 million scientific web pages, 22 million patents (US Patent and Trademark Office, European Patent Office, Japan Patent Office, World Intellectual Property Organization and UK Intellectual Property Office) and over 80 selected sources e.g. institutional repositories, digital archives and special subject collections made individually searchable via Selected Sources tab.
